The Republic of Kazakhstan will be represented by some distinguished sportsmen at the competition:
- Garas Nikita, Master of Sports of International Class, European champion, two-time Asian champion and world champion;
- Tronyagin Aleksandr, Master of Sports, Kazakhstan champion, silver medalist of Asian championship, two-time European champion;
- Lim Igor, a top-tier top-qualified coach, champion of Republic and International competitions, Chief Coach of Karaganda Oblast, Chief Referee of the Republic of Kazakhstan in kyokushinkai-kan karate.
The KWU World Cup takes place as part of the 13th International Summer Camp, KWU Camp 2019, which is the annual event most eagerly awaited in the world of kyokushin. In 2018, over 1500 sportsmen from 30 countries visited the camp.
It should be noted that kyokushinkai karate which is one of the newest and most powerful kinds of combat sports combining strength, agility, perfect physical coordination, swiftness and audaciousness, emerged in the middle of last century as an independent style. The kyokushinkai system was founded by karate master Masutatsu Oyama. He did not only create one of the most powerful karate techniques but was also able to make his school one of the most popular ones in Japan and Western countries.
Kyokushinkai karate is distinguished from other kinds of martial arts by its spectacularity. Tricks performed by masters seem incredible and make us think of how unlimited human capabilities are. Many people who have devoted themselves to this kind of combat sports are mainly focused on their self-perfection, self-improvement and the best possible use of their potential.
