The use of digital communication systems is a strategically important component of the railway infrastructure development. The increase in the transportation volume and the development of railways leads to the need for modernization of communication equipment. Analogue systems are outdated and they do not cope with reforming the management and congestion of railway sections. This leads to high operating costs and low quality indicators. Uninterrupted operation of all systems becomes impossible without a high-quality telecommunications infrastructure.
