At the end of September, the company’s specialists took part in Ural's largest industry exhibitions: the XX jubilee exhibition “Oil and Gas. Chemistry 2018” and the IV Interregional Exhibition of technologies, equipment and special-purpose machinery for ore and mineral extraction and processing “Mining Plant”, which were deployed in Perm in the territory of the Perm Fair Exhibition Association with an area of 4500 sq.m.
The participants and visitors of the exhibitions were in for an eventful business program consisting of numerous conferences, round-table discussions and seminars on the industry’s most topical issues. The organizers paid a lot of attention, within the business program of the “Mining Plant” exhibition, to the problems of the implementation of digital technologies in the mining industry. Our company’s representative, Vladimir Kochetkov, made a report on the “Digital technologies for automation and industrial safety in the mining industry” and took an active part in the discussions of the issues on the agenda. During the discussions, the participants looked into the instruments for support of projects in the sphere of digitalization through real-world examples, and demonstrated how information systems should be implemented at enterprises and how technological processes should be adapted.
Simultaneously with the exhibition of the achievements and results of work of industry companies “Oil and Gas. Chemistry”, an eventful business program was conducted for the directors and lead specialists of the petrochemical and machine-building industries, representatives of government agencies and the scientific community. The key event became the IV Perm Oil and Gas Forum “New solutions for the petrochemical industry development”, a partner in which was SC LUKOIL. In one of the sections of the forum, Vladimir Kochetkov gave a speech on the subject of “Evolution of digital communication systems at manufacturing facilities. Analysis of a centralized and decentralized system”. Other speakers included representatives of Lukoil Engineering Ltd., PermNIPIneft, Schlumberge, Regional Engineering Center fund, and so on.
Following the regional events, Russia’s largest international industry event was launched, VIII St. Petersburg International Gas Forum (PIGF 2018), with a procurement center deployed in its venue. About twenty companies supplying different goods and services for the market conducted direct negotiations with such major players of the petrochemical industry as Gazprom VNIIGAZ, Gazprom SPG, Gazprom Neft, ROSNANO, RusGazCryo, Surgutneftegaz, Severstal, etc. The Kommunikatsii company was represented at the procurement benter by Deputy General Director Kirill Skornyakov. During the negotiations, different aspects of interaction and promising projects involving both parties’ participation were discussed, as well as the main directions for further development of the mutually beneficial cooperation.
